Well we finally did it! We've created the Body version of our legendary Avocado Facial. So, those of you with the very driest skin on your body can get the softest, smoothest skin ever without lotion, from a body-sized jar of our Avocado cleansing, exfoliating moisturizer.

Just like the Facial version, Avocado Body has an almost creamy consistency and very subtle scent. It's also very gentle, so it's perfect for those who prefer a milder exfoliation. The emu oil version is perfect for eczema or psoriasis sufferers of all ages - from newborns to nonagenarians!

What Is Emu Oil?

Emu oil adds an extra boost of moisturization to our products and is recommended for anyone with very dry skin, sensitive skin, or a skin condition like eczema or psoriasis.

Emu oil is incredibly moisturizing, but rapidly absorbs, leaving your skin super hydrated without any greasy feeling. Emu oil has a very similar chemical composition to the sebum (aka oil) naturally produced by our bodies so it is completely non-irritating. It has anti-inflammatory, pain-relieving, and healing properties making it an excellent choice for anyone suffering from a skin condition like eczema or psoriasis, and also has purported benefits for burns and scarring. It does not change the scent of the products, so your Simple Sugars product will smell just as amazing with the emu oil added as it does without it.

Emu oil is an animal product, and is derived from the back fat of the emu bird. The birds are not killed for their oil - emus are raised for their meat, and the oil is a byproduct. We use only the finest, highest quality, refined emu oil, and it is produced in the US. Simple Sugars products with emu oil are not vegan, but the products with emu oil added are the ONLY products in the Simple Sugars line that contain any animal ingredients.

Great for hard to smooth spots!

I decided to give this one a try for my elbows and, oh my, it had done wonders! (I added emu oil for extra smoothness) I will be using this one all year long!!

A Great Scrub with a Very Light Scent

This scrub is wonderful - especially with Emu oil. I really like this one because it has a very light scent. Now don't get me wrong, Simple Sugar scents are fabulous because they smell like the real thing; however, if you are looking for a great, moisturizing scrub without a lot of scent this is perfect. I use this on my hands a couple of times a day during these dry, cold winter months and my hands feel great. If I want a little more scent I just use one of my other favorite great smelling Simple Sugars scrubs!
