Apple Cider Facial is back! This is our clarifying facial and it's best for normal to oily skin that tends to break out.
Apple Cider Vinegar Powder is the featured ingredient and it brings a strong list of facial benefits including:
  • Antimicrobial properties that cleanse skin and fight acne causing bacteria, helping to keep breakouts away and diminish blackheads. 
  • Astringent properties that help to restore your skin's natural Ph balance. This is important to keep oil production in check.
  • Extra exfoliating properties due the malic acid it contains. Malic acid is similar to alpha hydroxy acid so it unclogs pores and improves skin texture and hyperpigmentation.
Does it smell like vinegar? Yes, but it's not at all overpowering. It smells clean and clarifying.

What Is Emu Oil?

Emu oil adds an extra boost of moisturization to our products and is recommended for anyone with very dry skin, sensitive skin, or a skin condition like eczema or psoriasis.

Emu oil is incredibly moisturizing, but rapidly absorbs, leaving your skin super hydrated without any greasy feeling. Emu oil has a very similar chemical composition to the sebum (aka oil) naturally produced by our bodies so it is completely non-irritating. It has anti-inflammatory, pain-relieving, and healing properties making it an excellent choice for anyone suffering from a skin condition like eczema or psoriasis, and also has purported benefits for burns and scarring. It does not change the scent of the products, so your Simple Sugars product will smell just as amazing with the emu oil added as it does without it.

Emu oil is an animal product, and is derived from the back fat of the emu bird. The birds are not killed for their oil - emus are raised for their meat, and the oil is a byproduct. We use only the finest, highest quality, refined emu oil, and it is produced in the US. Wife loves it

Bought this for my wife as an anniversary present and she loves how much more effective of a cleanser it is than many of her medicated face washes! Her face is soft as can be and she loves the clean, light apple scent leftover afterward!

Ph perfection?

This scrub is better than spritzing with apple cider vinegar (which works for me as an ideal toner) because it smells better, plus you get the exfoliation effect, which is key for radiant skin. I like it with the Emu oil for a one-and-done morning routine. I don’t need additional moisturizer and I am 58!
