So who gets psoriasis anyway?

Just about anyone can get psoriasis. The following excerpt is from the Global Report on Psoriasis published by The World Health Organization in 2016. "Psoriasis is a common, chronic, noncommunicable skin disease, with no clear cause or cure. The negative impact of this condition on people’s lives can be immense. Psoriasis affects people of all ages, and in all countries. The reported prevalence of psoriasis in countries ranges between 0.09% and 11.43%, making psoriasis a serious global problem with at least 100 million individuals affected worldwide. Psoriasis has an unpredictable course of symptoms, a number of external triggers and significant comorbidities, including arthritis, cardiovascular diseases, metabolic syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease and depression."

There are two key takeaways here: 1) Over 100 MILLION men, women, and children of all ages anywhere in the world are affected by psoriasis. Now we get why there's a commercial for a psoriasis medication on the TV every time we turn it on! 2) The negative impact of this condition on people’s lives can be immense. So this is a big problem and we're a little company trying to do what we can to let people know that there is a non-pharmaceutical, all- natural solution that could be a life changer for them. Help us spread the word. Together we can decrease the stigma associated with this condition and help people live better lives without reliance on medications. We want to make the world a smoother place for everyone.
