Well, it's here. Pool season is here. ALREADY! It's definitely in the category of "The Top Injustices of Life" but there never seems to be enough time between the great holiday binge and bathing suit season.
So, realistically speaking, we're all out of time if we haven't necessarily attained "beach body status" quite yet. Not even a 2-day cleanse is gonna do it now.
But you know what? WHO CARES? (Well, everyone does, but hopefully, we're all trying not to care quite so much because all bodies deserve to be comfortable and happy at the pool! Yay for body positivity!)
You know what you should care about though? Your skin at the pool. So forget the cleanse, your pool opening prep should be Simple Sugars from head to toe! First of all, if your skin looks and feels great, you're that much closer to being happy, or at least not sad, in that bathing suit. If you're going to be rocking a teeny bikini or a speedo (please don't, but if you must...) you definitely want all that skin to be looking gorg. AND DO WE EVEN HAVE TO MENTION FEET?? We shouldn't. Your foot game needs to be on point for opening day at the pool, end of story.
We got you post-pool day too! That first day in the sun, especially for those of us that live in the colder climes, can be punishing! First things first, no one is going to get a savage tan in one weekend, so don't be careless! Be vigiliant about your sunscreen application! Be careful not to miss any spots and reapply when you get out of the water or every few hours.
When you get home, take a glorious shower with our Sun Scrub! It's exactly what skin needs after a day at the pool. Don't skip it! It'll help keep your skin looking amazing and feeling smooth, despite the sun and the chlorine and if you were unlucky enough to get a burn - yep, we said burn - you need this most of all! It'll replenish the moisture, help mitigate the damage and even help to prevent peeling! Not even kidding! AND IT DOESN'T HURT! So, dont be scared. Trust us. We love you and we would never do anything to hurt you <3! (Of course, if you have a really bad burn you wanna give that a couple of hours to calm down first, but trust us, it's really gentle and will be kind to your skin)
So get ready and GO NO-LO for pool season! Now everybody into the pool!
